One of the first things I love to do for THANKSGIVING is to DECORATE THE MANTEL. NOTHING to me says the holidays ARE HERE like a seasonal mantel.

All year I leave mine BARE so it is a joy to DOLL it up!

ALWAYS check for what you ALREADY have. I love to spend my $$ on something new for this year’s THEME.  This year my theme is WOODLANDS.

To add HEIGHT I like to use books. They are beautiful and add A LOT of INTEREST.

I found these little SPARKLY OWLS for a WOODLANDS TOUCH plus PUMPKINS I ALREADY had, and just a hint of CHRISTMAS ‘to come’ with tall green trees.

A little more pumpkins and greenery and then these FABULOUS GLASS GRAPES from the 60’s.  I LOVE FLEA MARKETS!

Some special AMBER PLASTIC BALLS for a pop of color!

I love to PROP UP A PICTURE on the mantel.  Don’t you love this little OWL?

And a little more fluffing and we are done!  GOBBLE GOBBLE 🦃🦃🦃
