Cocktails – Bacon Wrapped Chicken Bits

Whenever I have a cocktail party it tends to LAST AWHILE! Which is a good thing BUT you need some substantial snacks if you want your guests to be able to stand up and continue to the dinner table. 😳

PROBLEM SOLVED – One of my favorite noshes is BACON WRAPPED CHICKEN BITS!

They are easy to make, fast to bake and everyone LOVES them.

THE INGREDIENTS

  1. Boneless, skinless chicken breast
  2. Bacon – Applewood Smoked
  3. Dark Brown Sugar
  4. Sweet & Spicy BBQ Sauce – I use Sweet Baby Rays – Hickory & Brown Sugar

STEP 1

Cut the chicken breast into small cubes – don’t sweat πŸ˜“ it if they are not perfect they will be wrapped in bacon so IT DOESN’T MATTER.

STEP 2

Cut the bacon into three equal sized pieces HINT – easiest way is with a good set of kitchen shears. βœ‚οΈ

Wrap one piece of the bacon around each of the chicken bits and place on a FOIL LINED baking tray. Unless you want a BIG MESS to cleanup afterwards.

STEP 3

Mix the brown sugar and bbq sauce together to form a THICKISH paste and put a fairly LARGE GLOP on each of the bacon wrapped chicken bits.

STEP 4

Place in a pre-heated 375 degree oven and bake for ABOUT 30 minutes. You will want to WATCH them so they don’t get too brown.

STEP 5

Let the cocktails flow and chow down on a few of those BACON WRAPPED CHICKEN BITSπŸ€“
