Whenever I have a cocktail party it tends to LAST AWHILE! Which is a good thing BUT you need some substantial snacks if you want your guests to be able to stand up and continue to the dinner table. π³
PROBLEM SOLVED – One of my favorite noshes is BACON WRAPPED CHICKEN BITS!
They are easy to make, fast to bake and everyone LOVES them.
THE INGREDIENTS
- Boneless, skinless chicken breast
- Bacon – Applewood Smoked
- Dark Brown Sugar
- Sweet & Spicy BBQ Sauce – I use Sweet Baby Rays – Hickory & Brown Sugar
STEP 1
Cut the chicken breast into small cubes – don’t sweat π it if they are not perfect they will be wrapped in bacon so IT DOESN’T MATTER.
STEP 2
Cut the bacon into three equal sized pieces HINT – easiest way is with a good set of kitchen shears. βοΈ
Wrap one piece of the bacon around each of the chicken bits and place on a FOIL LINED baking tray. Unless you want a BIG MESS to cleanup afterwards.
STEP 3
Mix the brown sugar and bbq sauce together to form a THICKISH paste and put a fairly LARGE GLOP on each of the bacon wrapped chicken bits.
STEP 4
Place in a pre-heated 375 degree oven and bake for ABOUT 30 minutes. You will want to WATCH them so they don’t get too brown.
STEP 5
Let the cocktails flow and chow down on a few of those BACON WRAPPED CHICKEN BITSπ€
