Beautiful and FRAGRANT flowers on your DINING ROOM TABLE and THROUGHOUT your home will elevate your entertaining to a whole NEW LEVEL plus of course MAKE YOU HAPPY. And a Happy hostess is a GOOD HOSTESS.

It is so much fun to COLLECT unusual and beautiful containers for flowers.

For instance these little CARVED BIRDS with a glass vial (which I found at a HISTORICAL SOCIETY SHOP ~ hint, hint) are wonderful with a single ROSE.

Think a CANISTER is just for flour, THINK AGAIN. Just pop off that chicken head and VIOLA a beautiful flower container.

Beautiful BLUE AND WHITE DELFTWARE, CRACKLE PORCELAIN, WIRE CONTAINERS …. OK I could be a HOARDER but I prefer “COLLECTOR”.

A TRICK I learned a long time ago is to incorporate SILK FLOWERS with your real ones you can get a lot more BANG FOR YOUR BUCK that way.

Another MONEY SAVER is to collect greenery from YOUR YARD as a beautiful filler so you don’t have to buy SO MANY flowers.

If you can find one you LOVE choose a SIGNATURE flower. For me that is LILLIES I love the SMELL & BEAUTY of them and I ALWAYS have them at a Dinner Party.

So no matter the flower or container be sure to include FRESH FLOWERS at your next Dinner Party. Your guess will BREATH IN their BEAUTY.
